The "Sanremo Rally
Storico" will take
place from 25 to 27 March
2010
and it will celebrate
this year its 25th
birthday.
Owing to various reasons –
problems relating to the
International motor racing
calendar,
Easter on the
first Sunday of April, many
events scheduled in Sanremo
in March and April -
this
event will take place on the
last weekend of March, when
the administrative elections
will also be held in our
region. .

Therefore, to obtain the
necessary authorizations
from the authorities and to
ensure the help of the
police we were compelled to
modify the classical format
of the event switching the
two legs: the longer leg
will take place on Friday
and the shorter on Saturday.
As a consequence we also had
to slightly change the race
which, however, will be
maintained along the roads
and the most classical
special stages of the
Sanremo Rally.
There will be ten special
stages totalling over 150
kilometres, the whole course
being about 380 kilometres.
The Rally is valid for both
Italian and European
Championship.
Only cars built up
to 1981 are admitted.
